Get Involved!
Yes, the media has wasted years of our lives trying to persuade us that we are not the type of beautiful that is projected in the movies, displayed on the billboards or printed in the magazines. Despite all that we as African-American females, need to stand up, unite, and fight against the terrible definition of black beauty.
We all possess the strength and knowledge to change the world's perception of beauty, so what are we waiting for? Did I hear you ask what is there to do? Well, below are a list of organizations that are surrounded around enlightening the female African American population of what is taking place with the media and its ambiguous definition of black beauty.
